Ford is recalling over 694,000 Bronco Sport and Escape SUVs in the US after fuel injector cracks were linked to fire risks, expanding previous recalls and prompting a $570 million estimated cost.

Ford Motor is recalling certain vehicles whose fuel injectors may crack and leak fuel inside the engine compartment, increasing the risk of a fire.
