Liverpool confirmed themselves as Premier League champions on Sunday, much to the delight of their supporters. Congratulatory messages poured in for the 20-time English champions, including from the man that has regularly been their nemesis over the last decade.

Pep Guardiola said Manchester City could not be happy at all with their season even after beating Nottingham Forest to reach the FA Cup final.

Guardiola was made aware of Liverpool 's victory after the final whistle and was quick to congratulate the Reds in his post-match press conference. He ended his message with a firm warning that City will be hungry to return to the top next season.
