José Caballero turned an inning-ending double play for the Tampa Bay Rays in the fifth inning, then batted in the sixth.

In the middle of their four-game series finale Thursday afternoon, the Yankees and Rays finalized a deal to send Tampa Bay utility man Jose Caballero to New York. The Rays will receive outfielder Everson Pereira and a player to be named later from the Yankees.

The Yankees grabbed an early 7-0 lead, then led 7-4 before a long rain delay in the fifth. Neither team scored after the game resumed.
