NEW YORK — Jeannie Seely, the soulful country music singer behind such standards like “Don’t Touch Me,” has died. She was 85.

About 7,000 riders will participate in Pelotonia to raise money for cancer research, including Adrenal Team Maria to honor one Columbus woman.

This weekend, about 7,000 riders will cross the Pelotonia finish line in the annual ride to raise money for cancer research at The James.

On Aug. 1, sunrise occurred around 6:30 a.m. In just two months, it will shift to nearly 7:30 a.m., overlapping with peak traffic hours.
