Powerful storms batter North Texas, leaving over 1,000 without power as severe winds and heavy rain impact the region.

Severe storms are tracking across Oklahoma Sunday afternoon, bringing a risk of tornadoes, large hail and 100 mph wind gusts.

Once these storms are up and running, they are more than capable of producing intense wind gusts over 90 mph, damaging derechos, and a few tornadoes across Southern Oklahoma and Northwest Texas.
