President Donald Trump told reporters that Microsoft is in talks to acquire TikTok's U.S. operations, Bloomberg reports.
Oracle would run TikTok’s global operations while Microsoft is in talks to invest, according to NPR.
Speaking with reporters Monday night, President Trump said "yes" when asked if Microsoft is among the companies in discussions to buy TikTok.
Other U.S. investors are also involved in the TikTok takeover talks. Microsoft, which was one of the leading interested parties alongside Oracle last time around, is said to be one of those companies.
