Tottenham have confirmed the permanent signing of Mathys Tel on a six-year contract after a somewhat underwhelming loan spell. The 20-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Spurs from Bayern Munich, making 20 appearances and scoring three goals.

On Thursday evening, Frank was announced as Tottenham Hotspur’s new head coach on a three-year contract. The 51-year-old is the successor to Ange Postecoglou, who became the first Spurs manager to lift a trophy since 2008 when they won the Europa League final last month.
