Here’s how to get the best from them now they’re here in all their glory… If you want long, tall stems for cutting and bringing inside, cut out the two side buds and leave the strong central stem to grow on. If you’d rather enjoy a bushier plant full of flowers in the garden, snip out the central stem and let those side buds take over. Either way — keep deadheading spent blooms and your dahlias will reward you with more and more flowers as the season goes on. 🌸 #fieldgate

One of my favorite full flowered dahlia varieties from the breeding patch, this beauty is named ‘Nicolette’ after the beloved floral designer. Flowers are the prettiest smokey peach with a lavender wash. Stems are a dark chocolate, long and sturdy and each flower petal tip is laciniated. They are absolute perfection.
