Born in Kent, made in New Orleans. Since flying to “The Big Easy” in 1981, Jon Cleary has forged a path to become one of the leading blues and funk pianists in the world. He has played with Taj Mahal, D’Angelo, Snooks Eaglin, Earl “Trick Bag” King, Johnny Adams, and Jessie “Ooh Poo Pah Doo” Hill, and gained the respect of the great Crescent City pianists Dr. John and the late Allen Toussaint.
