The Karabiner 98 Kurz or Kar98k, was the standard battle rifle of the German Wehrmacht in World War II. It fired a 7.92x57 mm cartridge (8mm Mauser). It’s effective range was 500 meters and is a bolt action rifle. It was fed by 5 round stripper clips. 1st produced in 1934, approximately 14,600,000 were made.
