Heavier periods in perimenopause are normal too! This is usually in the earlier stages of perimenopause, and eventually, they do get lighter or further apart. Just a heads-up — if you're experiencing very heavy bleeding, passing large clots, or gushing, it’s a good idea to have it checked by your GP.
