🚂 STEAM DOUBLE-HEADER DEPARTS GROSMONT 🚂 Now you see me – now you don't. This wasn't quite what I had in mind when watching a steam double-header depart Grosmont Station during the North Yorkshire Moors Railway's annual Steam Gala. 9F No. 92134 has been turned to face north allowing for even wear on the tyres - here the locomotive departs from Pickering Station on the 16:00 service to Grosmont today. No. 92134 is the last example of the 9F class to have a single chimney, all of the other preserved 9F's have double chimneys.
