This male swan came in from Cheshire after being found injured. He had been attacked viciously by a mink, resulting in loss of sight in one eye, multiple bites on his face and a damaged bill. Our vet prescribed antibiotics and pain killers as well as eye drops as we had initially hoped this would save his sight in his left eye but unfortunately the mink’s canine tooth had caused too much damage. Despite the loss of sight in one eye, he was happily able to interact with the other swans, eat, bath
