Monitoruje ruch wokół maszyny i ostrzega pilotów przed potencjalnym zagrożeniem zderzeniem. Jeśli wykryje, że inny samolot zbliża się zbyt blisko, usłyszysz komunikat: „Traffic, traffic” – jak na nagraniu z kokpitu, które właśnie widzisz. 👨‍✈️ Co wtedy robimy? Obserwujemy wskazania systemu. Jeśli zagrożenie nadal narasta, TCAS wydaje jasne polecenie: „

'TCAS system test okay👌🏼' TCAS or Traffic Collision Avoidance works by a combination of an antenna scanning the airspace around the aircraft detecting any other aircraft and signals from ATC through the transponder. If these aircraft are at a similar altitude and position they will show up on the ND (Navigation Display). If they are within 1000ft (altitude separation) then they are deemed a threat.
