A snippet of a morning in the life of an alpaca shepherdess -- being a human hay feeder. Most of the week, the feed goes right into the bunk as there's other jobs to be done. But on slow Sundays, I take a few flakes and take my time. I spread out and give everyone a chance to come up and nibble.
