In 1885 at Morrison Old Corner Drug Store in Waco Texas a young pharmacist named Charles Alderton mixed a beverage that captured the very scent of the old drugstore. After experimenting with 23 different flavors he created a unique drink that locals ordered by asking for a Waco. This creation soon became America s oldest major soft drink eventually known as Dr Pepper.
