A rock slide at Polychrome Pass closed the Park Road to traffic in both directions from Teklanika to Toklat this morning. Park geologist Denny Capps captured video of part of the event. In this video you can see large rocks sliding down the side of the mountain towards the gravel road while the sounds of rain and sliding rocks can be heard in the background.
