Superb old Humber. It's an Imperial, but essentially similar to the Super Snipe. This car was destined to be noticed on the road, bring a huge luxurious vehicle, they were used by executives and officials. It doesn't seem to have that 'gangster' getaway reputation some big Jaguar's had. But then it doesn't have the XK engine. It does have twin carbs and about 130bhp. Humber made military vehicles aa many manufacturer's did back in the day. This car with acres of chrome was a pleasure to see, but

I'd definitely have one of these in my vast collection of motorcars. Big, bold and stately, most similar to the Humber Imperial, these Super Snipes are the best of British - executive saloons.
