Yesterday, two small fledgling doves were rescued near a busy restaurant where they couldn’t yet fly well enough to stay safe in the crowd. They were kept safe overnight and brought to PRWC this morning for a checkup. After being cleared by our staff, the young doves were released back near where they were found—this time able to take flight on their own.
