Today our Year 7 students have been applying their physics knowledge about levers and pulleys. In a series of experiments, they’ve observed how different pulleys, levers and fulcrum positions alter the effort needed to lift a range of heavy loads—from a sack of filled water bottles (approximately 18kg worth) to their teacher, Mr Boman (70kg)!
