We adopted our beautiful Royal Palm Popeye in 2015 when he was still a "Jake", about a year old. So, he's eleven years old now! I'm so glad that we adopted him. He's such a sweet boy, gentleman, protector of the hens. He's been known to "put them up" (the hens) in their coop if he senses danger. He's done this on many occasions.
