VIETNAM: DOG MEAT DOGS FOR RANSOM Everyday dogs are chained up in the hot sun for ransom. Even in monsoon rains; they're chained up in the elements. Many are stolen pets with huge ransom prices on them, knowing they'll be sold to butchers if not ransomed. Many owners cannot afford to pay a ransom which is more than one month's salary for them!
