Supreme Judicial Court Ruling. In Massachusetts the SJC upheld Judge Cannone’s denial of the Defense motion asking the court to dismiss counts 1 & 3 or find that declaring a mistrial was an abuse of discretion. I broke down the ruling live on YT today. The trial will be moving forward as expected. At this point. Karen Read Trial headed to closing arguments on Friday. Tomorrow I will stream the jury charging conference, then Friday will be closings. 31 days of evidence.
